Monster Sanctuary - tame monsters in this fantasy world. Monster Sanctuary is a 2D RPG game in which you play as a young and proud Monster Keeper! You are accompanied by a loyal spirit animal that can help you throughout the long journey. Battle countless monsters, get new monsters on your party, and raise them to become the greatest monsters of all time. Good luck!

To start with, players must choose their spectral familiar. Choose from four different characters including the Spectral Wolf, Toad, Eagle, or Lion. Each spectral animal has an ancient bloodline of proud monsters. Moreover, each animal has different skills, stats, and affinity with an element such as earth, fire, or water.

After choosing a familiar, players must follow their ancestors footsteps and try to keep the peace between humans and monsters. Unsettling events worries the people and threatens the peace - it is your duty to train your monsters and uncover the mystery that threatens the land.

Each monster has a unique set of attacks and stats. Moreover, monsters have weaknesses and resistance to different types of attacks. Always look at the information given and see which attacks are best to use. The turn based combat is easy to follow - you attack first, then the enemy attacks. Use your turns carefully!

Aside from resistance and weakness, each monster has a unique skill tree. Upgrade this skill tree to unlock powerful new abilities. As your monsters level up, their basic stats, such as health and mana, also improve. Out of all the monster collecting games, Monster Sanctuary has to be one of the most detailed and fun to play.

Whilst playing, don’t forget to hatch monster eggs. Collect monster eggs from battles. These eggs can be hatched to give you new monsters to fight with. Once hatched, the monster is yours, and you can start upgrading it and including it in future battles. This game has early access and already has a brilliant community of dedicated players.

Players must also consider the skill tree and items they collect. Pick up equipment, weapons, and potions from chests. Equipment can be crafted, upgraded, and given to monsters. This improves their damage and stats. Potions are used to give different effects and to heal both health and mana. This aspect of Monster Sanctuary is just as important as the fighting itself.
